Biographical Information
After studies in Cambridge and Vienna, joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office with overseas service in Brazil; Ireland; Portugal; Soviet Union; Sweden & Austria.
In 2002, took up a newly created post as International Policy Advisor for the US Oil & Gas company, Chevron. Being based in the UK, also headed relationships with European based organisations, including the World Economic Forum; the International Crisis Group, Chatham House – and the GLF. Served continuously on the International Board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative since its foundation in 2003. Retired from Chevron in 2022.
