GLF appoints Chester Crocker as Vice Chairman

 Apr 9, 2019 5:00 PM

At a recent meeting in Dublin, GLF Members appointed GLF Member Chester Crocker as its new Vice Chairman.

Chester Crocker takes over from Joe Clark who stands down after having served as Vice Chairman since 2010.

As US Assistant Secretary of State from 1981-89, Chester Crocker led the diplomacy that produced the peace treaties signed by Angola, Cuba, and South Africa in 1988. These agreements resulted in Namibia’s independence and the withdrawal of foreign forces from Southern Africa.
