GLF Member Festus Mogae was recently appointed the Chair of the Prize Committee for the Ibrahim Prize for Achievement in African Leadership. He succeeds fellow GLF Member, Salim Ahmed Salim, who chaired the committee from 2011 until 2019.

President Mogae says he is “honoured to accept this role and I look forward to working with my fellow committee members. We have been privileged to be guided in our work by Salim Ahmed Salim and Kofi Annan, who themselves exemplify so many of the qualities that the Ibrahim Prize celebrates”
